Paper or Thermocoal is treated , so that wax in not absorbed by it.

Same is true with imported apples, which are treated with wax to stay and look fresh.
To test just soak them in hot water and you will observe the wax layer on it.

If that is the case, then why doesn't the liquid seep or get into the paper after the wax is melted???? Then the liquid should be sucked by the paper glass. But it doesn't happen.
