[istockwatch.com] Nifty holds 5300 amid choppy trade

The BSE Sensex was volatile in trade, though it recouped early losses, supported by Reliance Industries and ICICI Bank. Metals and FMCG sectors too were quite supportive. However, technology, auto (two-wheeler), capital goods and financials (barring ICICI Bank) stocks were under pressure.
